One person was seriously injured Friday evening when involved in a single-vehicle crash along Route 209 in Polk Township.

The crash occurred at 6:20

p.m.just south of the intersection with Burger Hollow Road.A sport utility vehicle apparently spun out, entering the west berm impacting with a utility pole at the driver's door.Reports from the scene there was an ejection.One was flown from the scene by PennStar helicopter. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
