Jim Thorpe and Lehighton picked up boys soccer victories to highlight Thursday's scholastic action.

BOYS SOCCERN. Schuy.-Jim ThorpeLuke Morris' four goals helped Jim Thorpe run away with a 9-1 Schuylkill League win over North Schuylkill.Cody Geiser added a hat trick for the Olympians. Chris Williams had a goal and an assist, Carter Rodriguez scored a goal, and Todd Sterling chipped in two assists.Lehighton-Pine GroveIn a key Schuylkill League Division I match-up, it was Lehighton who came out on top with a 4-1 victory over Pine Grove.Frank Bokan led the Indians with two goals and two assists. Joe Marks recorded a goal and two assists and Patrick Lawler added a goal.Lehighton improves to 10-2 overall and 7-1 in the league. Pine Grove falls to 9-2 overall and 5-2 in league play.Salisbury-N'westernZachary Adams scored with 8:38 left in overtime to lift Salisbury to a 1-0 victory over Northwestern in a non-league matchup between two Colonial League schools.Northwestern couldn't solve Falcons' keeper Tyler Keller, who had 16 saves.
