The Slatington Public Library located on Main Street will hold its 19th annual Chinese Auction on Friday at the Diamond Fire Company on Main Street in Walnutport. Doors will open for this event at 5 p.m., with ticket drawing at 8 p.m.There will be live entertainment provided by Mike Peters. The fire company will open their kitchen for the event as well. All money raised will go directly to the library.Anyone wishing to donated handcrafted items, gift certificates and gift baskets with a $20 value can bring items to the library on Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., or Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. After 5 p.m. Friday, donations can be taken directly to the fire company when doors open on Friday.
