The results of roving and stationary DUI patrols by members of the Lehighton barracks of the state police were released.

Between Friday at 9 p.m. and Saturday at 3 a.m. seven motorists were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.In addition, seven motorists were arrested but released after passing standardized field sobriety tests; 30 citations were issued; and one motorist was arrested for being in possession of a controlled substance.
