Mahoning Township police reported the arrest of a Palmerton woman for retail theft in which she had a minor also involved.

Police said on Aug. 17 at 2:07 p.m. a retail theft occurred at the Wal-Mart store. Loss prevention reported Tina Norman, 40, of Palmerton had stolen merchandise valued at $415 with the assistance of a minor.Norman has been charged with retail theft and corruption of minors, both misdemeanors.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 7.
