A Coaldale man was cited by Tamaqua police after an incident on Aug. 30.

Police were dispatched to Center Street at 3:10 a.m. for a possible fight in progress. At the scene they spoke with two men who said Ryan McFadden, 34, of 238 W. Ridge St., had been banging his head off a railing at the Tamaqua Diner. There was fresh blood on the hand rail.McFadden was located walking on Center Street. He told officers he was upset about an earlier incident, involving a female, at the Pine Street Pub.He refused medical assistance and was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
