At 7:15 p.m. July 18, while conducting an aggressive driving enforcement, police observed a Chevy Silverado traveling 51 mph in a posted 35 mph zone on Route 209.

The vehicle turned onto Packerton Dam Drive and traveled at an extremely high rate of speed. The vehicle was stopped by police. During the investigation, officers seized marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver, Kenneth Liebold, 28, of Mahoning Township, has been charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police, a felony; two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanors; and speeding and reckless driving, both summary charges.Liebold was arraigned on Monday.A passenger, Nicholas Guevara, 27, of Allentown, has been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, a misdemeanor.Preliminary hearings for both are scheduled on Sept. 16.
