Group conducts pediatric clinic

The Schuylkill County Society for Crippled Children conducted a pediatric orthopedic clinic at Schuylkill Health, South Jackson Street on July 10.Special thanks to the students from the Joseph F. McCloskey School of Nursing for sponsoring the clinic.Thirty-one children were given the opportunity to be evaluated, and 12 were new evaluations.Dr. John Parenti from Geisinger Medical Center in Danville evaluated the children.The Society's next clinic is Sept. 4 at Schuylkill Health, South Jackson Street. Appointments for children from birth to 18 years of age from the Schuylkill County Area may be made by contacting the Society Office at 570-622-7170 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
