Woman cited in disturbance

A Tamaqua woman was cited following a disturbance on Rowe Street on Aug. 4.Officers were dispatched to the area at 6:50 a.m. and spoke with the male caller, who said a woman had been at his house, causing a disturbance while looking for her nephew. The woman was identified as Charlene Lower, 50, of 222 E. Broad St., Tamaqua. Lower also reportedly became physical with the caller's girlfriend.Lower was stopped by police as she was driving away and advised to stay away from the victim's house. Officers learned her driver's license was suspended.She was cited for driving with a suspended license and disorderly conduct.
