Weatherly police have charged three borough men with drug offenses, and anticipate more arrests.

A controlled buy was made Friday from Brett Scott, 25, of 120 Carbon St., and Dakota Klynowsky, 20, of 115 N. Stagecoach Road, said Police Chief Brian Markovchick.The men delivered a brick of heroin during the buy, in the 100 block of Carbon St. They were taken into custody on the front porch of 131 Carbon St.A third man, Bryan baker, 29, of 33 Kline St., was in the vehicle during the transaction, and was also taken into custody.The charges were the result of an ongoing investigation in which multiple drug buys were made.“These were the last set of buys made from the same people,” Markovchick said.Scott is charged with two counts each of criminal conspiracy, prohibited acts, manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.Baker was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.Klynowsky was charged with criminal conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and driving under the influence of a controlled substance.All three are in Carbon County prison awaiting arraignment.
