A Carbon County man is facing charges for sending text messages to his estranged wife in violation of a protection from abuse order.

State police at Fern Ridge said Kenneth Diaz, of Albrightsville, was cited for harassment.Troopers said he sent text messages and Facebook communications to his 34-year-old wife, after he was served with a PFA order prohibiting him from having any kind of contact with her.The incidents occurred during the time frame of Aug. 6 and 8.
