A hike exploring the mountain behind Locust Lake State Park in Barnesville will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
The hike is 8 miles long and difficult. The pine stands and brush are perfect habitat for birds and other wildlife. Participants should meet at the visitors parking lot at the park.
