A 29-year-old Tamaqua man has been reported missing.

Jesse Farber, also known as Jesse Rex, was last seen Tuesday afternoon.Family members say the last contact made by Farber was a cellphone call placed to his girlfriend in which he sounded frantic and needing help.His last known location is believed to have been on South Mountain, or Sharp Mountain, behind Tamaqua Area High School.Farber was last seen wearing a black hoodie and carrying a camo-style bookbag.Information about his height and weight was not immediately available but family members describe him as having a small build.Anyone with information about Farber's whereabouts is asked to contact the Tamaqua Police Department at 570-668-5000 or Rachel Carroll at 570-952-5099.
