A 12-year-old boy has been flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital after he drove his bike into a car.

The boy was riding south on Bowe Street at 3 p.m. and failed to stop at intersection with Spruce, police said.

He struck the passenger side door of a 2007 Nissan Ultima driven by a 17-year-old male from New Ringgold.

The car was being driven west on Spruce.

The boy had head and leg injuries.
