Two people were severely injured in a crash Friday in Lowhill Township.

Christine R. Karom, 83, of Orefield, was driving a 2004 Ford pickup north on Route 100 during a rainstorm at about 2 p.m. when she tried to negotiate a curve and hit an oncoming 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Todd G. Fatzinger, 50, of Walnutport, according to state police at Fogelsville.Karom was charged with failing to stay within her lane.
