A Tamaqua woman has been cited for sending harassing and threatening messages to another woman.

The victim contacted Tamaqua police on July 10 to report receiving threatening text messages from Kelly Andrews, 37, of 241 Brown St.In the texts Andrews threatened to damage the victim's vehicle.Five texts were sent in a 15-minute time span. The victim noted this was not the first time Andrews had threatened and harassed her.When contacted by police, Andrews admitted sending texts to the victim "because she stole my husband."She was cited for harassment by communication.
