An Albrightsville woman has been charged with retail theft.

State police at Fern Ridge said Dina Lopoplo, 63, entered Kinsley's ShopRite, at 104 Kinsley Drive in Chestnuthill Township, at 2:45 p.m. Saturday. Troopers said she removed three "AA" batteries from a large pack and placed them in her purse. She then proceeded to pay for groceries and other items, but did not pay for the batteries, troopers said.
