The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a flash flood warning for Eastern Carbon and Monroe counties.

Thunderstorms moving across the area could bring up to 2 inches of rain.

Flash flooding is expected in areas such as .Palmerton, Beltzville State Park, Jonas and Gilbert.
