Connor Reinhard of Palmerton finished third in the local round of the Drive Chip & Putt Championship competition held earlier this week at Brookside Country Club in Macungie.

Reinhard finished with a total of 91 points (29 Drive, 17 Chip and 45 Putt) finishing behind Evan Eichenlaub who had 100 points and Owen Fahs who had a 95.Another Palmerton golfer, Tyler Hager, finished as an alternate with 88 points, winning the putting part of the contest for 55 points.Reinhard now moves on to the Sub-Regional on Tuesday, August 11 at The ACE Club in Lafayette Hills, PA.
