A car crashed into a Schuylkill County bar early today.

State police at Frackville said the incident occurred about 1:40 a.m. at Mazloom's bar, located along Valley Street (Route 209), in New Philadelphia.Troopers said David Flynn, 50, of Pottsville, had his 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee parked alongside the bar along Water Street, with the front of the vehicle facing the bar.As Flynn accelerated to leave the parking spot the vehicle's gas peddle stuck down and the Jeep accelerated forward out of control.The Jeep crashed into the bar head-on and came to rest halfway inside the bar facing south.Flynn, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured. No charges are pending.
