A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident that occurred at 3:18 a.m. on Thursday, along Route 183, near Front St., in Cressona.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Steven Hasenauer II, 37, of Pottsville, was stopped while operating a 2001 Plymouth Neon southbound after he committed several traffic violations.He was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
