No injuries in three-vehicle crash

Three drivers escaped injury following a three-vehicle crash early this morning in Nesquehoning. According to Police Chief Sean Smith, a Ford Explorer, driven by Robert Nevenglosky of Nesquehoning, was attempting to pass a white Nissan, driven by Lyndsay Kusko of Lansford, and a tri-axle truck, driven by Richard Pribilla of Summit Hill, in a no-passing zone along Route 54 in the Hauto Valley Estates just before 7 a.m. when he lost control, striking both vehicles before swerving off the roadway and hitting two trees. Police and fire crews responded to the scene. Two vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Smith said Nevenglosky will be cited for careless driving.
