June 23, 2003 Northern Lehigh's Ryan Hluschak wins an award at the annual McDonald's Lehigh Valley All-Star Classic. Hluschak receives the Gold team practice MVP for dedication, commitment and good attitude in the days leading up to the game. As for the contest, Hluschak (who rushes three times for 11 yards and catches a four-yard pass) and his Gold squad drop a 24-10 decision. Pleasant Valley's Erik Murphy recovers a fumble for the Red team while Northwestern's Ray Keshel does the same for the Gold. Also contributing strong defensive efforts are Lehighton's Vinnie Andrews and Northwestern's Austin Bleam.
