State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of a large quantity of vehicle batteries from a Monroe County business.

Troopers said the theft occurred at Chestnuthill Power Sports, located along Route 209, in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township.Troopers were called to the business on June 17. Taken from the site were 44 vehicle batteries and miscellaneous vehicle parts. The theft occurred sometime between June 15-17.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
