St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will be celebrating two events on Sunday. New members will be welcomed into the church during the 10:30 a.m. service.The church will also be rededicating the Prayer Garden, located behind the church. This will take place after the service. Members will gather at the garden for prayers, songs and a Monarch butterflyrelease.There are several new gifts that have been added in the past year. They include seven new stones on the walkway, Ronnie Esrang holly bed, two evergreen trees and leafy handrails in memory of Kathy J. Murlo.An ice cream social will follow.Camp KilimanjaroCamp Kilimanjaro vacation Bible School will be held this week, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ebenezer Evangelical Church, Centre Avenue.
