A Barnesville man faces criminal charges after a traffic stop on Cumberland Avenue, Hometown, on May 15.

Rush Township police stopped David A. Merenda, 56, at 4:42 p.m. for a traffic violation. Officers detected signs of possible intoxication and asked him to submit to a blood test. He refused.A records check determined his driver's license was suspended for a previous incident of DUI.He was charged with DUI and several traffic violations.
