DUICriminal charges were filed against Susan Zelienka, 53, of 775 W. Edgemont Ave. Palmerton, for DUI. The incident occurred on May 3 at 8:36 p.m. in the 700 block of West Edgemont Avenue.Criminal charges were filed against Melody Nenscel, 59, of 938 Edgemont Ave. Palmerton, for DUI and general lighting requirements. The incident occurred on March 20 at 11:43 p.m. in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue.TheftCriminal charges were filed against Eric Betz, 29, of 577 Lafayette Ave. Palmerton, for theft and receiving stolen property. The incident occurred on May 28 at 9:20 a.m. in the 600 block of Franklin Avenue.Criminal charges were filed against Donnie Edwards, 58, of 316 Delaware Ave. Apt. 3, Palmerton, for theft and receiving stolen property. The incident occurred on May 9 (no time given) in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.Retail theftTiffany Costenbader, 33, of 819 Princeton Ave. Palmerton, was cited for retail theft. The violation occurred at 9:44 p.m. June 7 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.OtherPolice also issued 11 citations for speeding, and three citations for vehicle violations.
