The Carbon County Environmental Education Center will hold its fourth annual 5K fundraising run beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday.

The "Rattlesnake Run" is an out-and-back, 3.1-mile race held at Lehigh Gorge State Park. Participants have the chance to win awards, receive free T-shirts, and enjoy organic baked goods courtesy of 14 Acre Farm.A 1-mile fun walk will also be held at 9 a.m. All ages are welcome. Strollers and well-mannered, leashed dogs are permitted at the fun walk.Registration is required for either event. Both begin and end at the Glen Onoko access area to Lehigh Gorge State Park, located in Jim Thorpe.More information is available at
