Palmerton graduate and current University of Pennsylvania junior Kelsey Hay finished 13th in the javelin Thursday at the NCAA Track and Field Championships in Oregon.

Hay, who became the first woman in the school's track and field program to receive two outdoor All-America honors, had a top throw of 47.85 meters, or 157 feet, 0 inches.The former Blue Bomber recently set an Ivy League javelin record at the NCAA East Preliminary Round when she posted a throw of 51.17 meters, or 167-10.
