The Weatherly Area Community Library recently received a contribution from the family of Carol Heater, who passed away in March 2013.

Carol Heater's son James, husband Maurice "Benny" and daughter Jan Ray presented a check for $10,000 to library officers Susie Gerhard, president, and the Rev. Bob VonFrisch, treasurer. The donation will be used to renovate the lobby area of the new library, located on Brenkman Drive."The benefits of teaching a child to love reading from an early age can never be underestimated, and will remain with them for their entire lives. It will make them better students and more successful and productive members of our society in years to come."This is a great way to honor family members and/or friends, who are living or deceased, and at the same time support your community and our future.
