State police at Lehighton say a New York man was driving under the influence in East Penn Township.

According to a report released by police, at 11:56 p.m. Sunday, another driver contacted police to say there was a man driving erratically, headed west on Dinkey Road.Police found the 32-year-old driver from Woodhaven, whom they did not name, and determined he was under the influence of a controlled substance.
