Sunday worship with Holy Communion at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., starts at 9 a.m. Recognition of Trinity members who are graduating from high school, technical school, college or institutions of higher learning will be observed.Guest speaker Chelle Huth of Theological Education with Youth will speak about the program, and will be available following the worship service for a Q & A session.Designated pastor the Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.First Saturday worship with Holy Communion is at 5 p.m. Friday. Guest pastor the Rev. Michael Frost presides.Free yoga sessions are available Friday afternoons, 2-3 p.m. Enter at the Third Street office door to go to the youth room. Bring your own mat and water. No baby-sitting service is available.Vacation Bible School is June 22-26, 6:30-8:30 p.m. This year's theme: "Hometown Nazareth: Where Jesus Was a Kid." Volunteers are needed to help make the program successful. Contact the church office and leave a message. Registration is free for children ages 3 through completion of sixth grade. www.tlclehighton.com.Trinity is hosting an organ and trumpet recital at 3 p.m. June 28. Guest organist is Randall D. Perry, artistic director and conductor of the Bach and Handel Chorale. John H. Thyhsen is the trumpet soloist. Thyhsen is the principal trumpet with the chorale's Festival orchestra. A free-will offering will be accepted to benefit the food pantry.Trinity will hold Red Cross CPR/First Aid training classes with Gayriel "Tracy" Lester from 6-10 p.m. June 30 and July 7. You must attend both dates.
