A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance following a traffic stop that occurred at 8:27 p.m. on May 1.

State police at Frackville said Vincent Petrozino, 20, of Saint Clair, was stopped along Route 61 in Ryan Township. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest.He was transported to a Pottsville hospital where he submitted to a blood test. The test result showed the presence of marijuana in his system. Charges were filed, troopers said.
