May 29, 2004 Lehighton's Danny Miller earns second place in the Class AA discus at the PIAA Track and Field Championships at Shippensburg. Miller records a distance of 157-1 on his final attempt to secure the silver medal. Northwestern's Megan Brown and Marian's Nate Phillips also medal on the second day of the state competition. Brown takes seventh in the Class AA triple jump with a leap of 35-9 while Phillips clears 6-4 to finish eighth in the AA high jump.
