Berlinsville outhit the Northampton Giants but errors proved to be costly as the Braves dropped a 6-3 Blue Mountain League contest.

The pitching duo of Josh Kern (four innings) and Tyler Svetik (three combined) combined to give up only two earned runs and six hits but their defense commited four errors that led to four unearned runs.Kern, a Lehighton graduate, suffered the loss. He struck out four and walked two.Palmerton product Christian Marcin had a hit, run scored and two walks for the Braves, who dropped to 1-5. Mike Wozniak had three hits and an RBI.For Northampton, Nate Kester (Northwestern grad) had a hit and an RBI.
