A Saylorsburg man died after being hit by a car Sunday in Northampton County.

Jonathan Kennedy 26, was pronounced dead at 1:53 p.m. at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem campus. The cause and manner of death are pending the results of an autopsy scheduled for Wednesday.

Kennedy was struck at 8:52 p.m. Sunday on Route 512 in front of Weona Park, Pen Argyl.

His death is being investigated by the Lehigh County coroner's office and the Slatebelt Regional Police Department.
