A Tamaqua man was cited after an incident at a local diner on May 9.

Police responded to the diner at 6:30 a.m. and found Jacob E. Mayersky, 29, of 115 W. Rowe St., sleeping it off at a table. They woke him, had him pay his bill and offered him a ride home.He was cited for public drunkenness.
