Muhlenberg freshman Gwen Remaley earned a third place in the shot put at the Centennial Conference Championships recently.
Remaley, a Lehighton graduate and the 2014 Times News Track and Field Athlete of the Year, earned her bronze medal with a distance of 40-4 .The former Indian had a solid season for the Mules. Besides the third place at the conference meet, she had firsts at the Muhlenburg Invitaional and the Lehigh Games. In addition to that, her throw of 41-8 at the Lafayette 7-Way Invitational set a new school record. The old mark of 41-7 had stood since 1990.
