Silliman allows just a second-inning run and finishes the contest with 10 strikeouts. He helps his own cause by blasting a two-run homer during a four-run fourth inning. The winners also receive three hits from Marty Renshaw while Dick Standen, Bob Mlkvy, Terry Eckert, G. Wargo and Solt all chip in with a hit.
