May 14, 1975 Denny Yelito tosses a one-hit shutout and strikes out 16 batters to help lead Tamaqua to a 3-0 Schuylkill League win over Panther Valley. Yelito allows only a bloop single to Joe Staivecki in the second inning. The winning pitcher helps his own cause by delivering an RBI single in the bottom of the first. The Blue Raiders, coached by Dennis Kormonick, add some insurance when Steve Houser collects a two-run single. Ray Dewire also contributes a hit and run scored.
