State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of a registration plate for a 2011 carry-on trailer.

A resident on Rose Drive in Saylorsburg reported the plate was stolen sometime between Jan. 1 and Saturday from the trailer parked at his residence.The plate number is XGD2884.
