May 9, 1988 Erik Pecha strikes out 10 batters in six innings of work and Panther Valley rallies late in the game to pull out a 4-3 Schuylkill League Division II-North win over Cardinal Brennan. Trailing by a run, the Panthers tally twice in the home sixth to take the lead. Ron Spezialetti and Tony Kondertavage, who both walked, come around with the tying and eventual game-winning runs. Matt Ligenza collects two hits and scores the other two PV runs while Joe Strauss adds a pair of hits and an RBI. Don Ansbach earns the save by pitching a scoreless seventh inning.
