Several people were cited for violating the Quality of Life Ordinances in Tamaqua last week.

Cited for having accumulated rubbish/garbage were: George Geissinger, properties at 225 and 227 Hunter St., first violation; and Kerry Titus, 310 N. Railroad St., third violation.Geissinger was also cited for improperly storing motor vehicles at his Hunter Street properties.Cited for having indoor furniture outside was Michelle Hosier, 29 E. Elm St., a first offense.The fine for a first offense is $25; $50 for a second offense; and $100 for a third offense.
