A Shenandoah man was injured Friday in a three-car crash on Route 61 in Norwegian Township.

Michael C. Betz, 19, was a passenger in a 1987 Dodge Dakota driven by Roger A. Betz, 58, also of Shenandoah, said state police at Schuylkill Haven.At 5:40 p.m., Roger A. Betz was driving the truck south in the right hand lane and was unable to stop in time to avoid hitting a 1989 GMC Sierra, driven by Bradley L. Sunday, 58, of Pottsville, that was stopped behind a 2010 Subaru Forester, driven by Terry L. Weaver, 46, of Pottsville, that was stopped for a red light at Tunnel Road.The truck hit the Sierra, pushing it into the Subaru.All involved were wearing lap and shoulder belts. There were no other injuries. The Dodge had to be towed from the scene.
