Nesquehoning police have filed a petition in the Carbon County Juvenile Court against a male juvenile, alleging he intentionally started a brush fire in the Paradise area of the community.

Police said the incident happened on April 18. Police were called to Whitewater Rafting, located off Route 93, for a brush fire, later discovering that it was arson, caused by the boy.
