The Carbon County Democrats for Change will hold their next meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at The Inn at 24 Broadway in Jim Thorpe.

The speaker for the evening will be Mike Morrill, executive director of Keystone Progress.Keystone Progress is the largest online Pennsylvania progressive organization and has been a leader in the campaign for an increase in the minimum wage, expanding health care, protecting Social Security and other progressive causes. The Democrats for Change will hold their last meeting of the season on May 26.The speaker for that meeting will be Michael Luis Principe who will be speaking on the topic of the Supreme Court.
