April 15, 1977 Tom Kochaba captures three firsts and Bob Spezialetti sets a new school record to help Panther Valley cruise to a 109-41 victory over Marian. Kochaba wins all three jumps (long, triple, high) as the Panthers post a 48-15 advantage in the field events. Spezialetti breaks his own mark in the 330 intermediate hurdles by finishing in 43.0. PV also receives a pair of firsts from Geno DeGiosio in the 100 and 220.
