Two teens were cited for underage drinking by Tamaqua Police on April 9.

Police were investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Coal and South streets at 12:50 a.m. Thursday. They found a black truck with the motor running. Inside were a 17-year-old male, a 15-year-old female and a bottle of Bacardi rum. Both teens admitted to having some of the rum.They were released into the custody of their respective parents.
