Tamaqua police are investigating the theft of a Samsung Galaxy cell phone, reportedly stolen while the victim was at Freddy's Pub, 16 Mauch Chunk St.

The victim, 31, of Nesquehoning, told officers he was in the pub at 11:40 p.m. on March 29. He turned to speak with a friend and when he turned back around, his phone was missing.He also told officers they really didn't have to look for the phone, as it wascovered by insurance. Police are investigating anyway.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at call 570-668-6100.
