The Carbon County Navy Club held its annual election of officers during the March meeting. Officers elected are, from left, John Mauro, paymaster; Richard Tamplin, junior executive

officer; William Flail, two-year trustee; Eugene Seip, three-year trustee; Scott Reinhart,commander; Philip Parsons, ship's writer; Tony Omnichmowski, chaplain; and missing from photo, Stanley Jaroszewski, executive officer. The new officers were sworn in for their duties by Past National Executive Officer Joseph Toth. Membership in the Carbon County Navy Club is open to all Navy, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and U.S. Merchant Marines who served during wartime. Meetings are the last Monday of the month at the VFW Post in Nesquehoning.
